My approach to counselling is simple, the more understood and heard that you feel, the more ‘comfortable’ you will feel discussing your ‘uncomfortable’ issues with me. Being vulnerable takes courage, and I offer a gentle, calm and safe environment, whereby there is no judgement and you will be treated with kindness, confidentiality and respect.
There are lots of different ways in which therapists can ‘Counsel’ and this can often be quite confusing. I am a Counsellor that uses Integrative Counselling. This means that I use a blend of theories and strategies to help people in different ways, depending on the situation and needs at the time, allowing me to tailor the right approach to you. I also specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, known as CBT.
